Today I am as excited and thrilled as a first time parent is on the first birthday of their child. This institution is nothing short of a one year old infant which has rather been blessed with the presence of many gentic hands who have nourished and nurtured it with immense care and Dedication. My heart swells with pride when I step back and think of those initial days and recount haw we built its foundations brick by brick.

Today I am humbled every time I walk past our corridors and hear the vibrant resonance of the students, gulded by their learned teachers and committed non-teaching staff. Each one of them has been instrumental in taking the institution forward.

It was nothing short of an achievement for a fledging educational establishment to successfully host a summit as innovative as ‘Hindi Mahotsav 2016’ within the very initial 6 weeks of its existence. Its success could be measured from the extensive participation it received from over a dozen colleges in an around Jamshedpur. It was such an immense honor to receive the blessings of the doyens of the educational fraternity, who graced the occasion.

Our teachers have continually striven to encourage the pursuance of academic brilliance. This of course comes hand In hand while instilling a culture of strict discipline and emphasis on taking on additional responsibilities. We have thus built a vibrant culture which helps all round development of students, who are readying themselves to take on the mantle of a teacher. Our 500 seating capacity ‘multipurpose hall’ has witnessed several occasions where staff and students have come together to perform in an uninhibited manner.

We obviously have not restricted our activities within the boundaries of our institution. We have participated in several social and community activities, promoting citizens to cast their franchise and promoting cleanliness amongst others. Every opportunity was seized to celebrate our festivals and national days.

Our existing infrastructure inclusive of our various laboratories, vast library, biometric attendance features, emphasis on security and access to clean water and hygienic maintenance of premises pays testimony to the fact that we would leave no stone unturned to provide the best of amenities possible.

It is indeed great feats that at the recently held inter collegiate ’Kolhan University Youth Festival 2017’ our students brought in the laurels in just about every event they participated.

Indeed a good beginning is perhaps indicative of half the battle won and that motivates us further in our ongoing journey. As I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude towards those who have stood by us, I would also convey my promise to continue the momentum and see ‘ Srinath College’ as nothing short of being a ‘Centre for Excellence’ in every pursuit of ours.
